INTERVIEWER
I’m joined by Annie Lever and Annie is rich an successful,
you mingle with the stars, Annie. What do you do?
ANNIE
I walk their dogs....
INTERVIEWER (holding small container)
And this, Annie, I was telling people before the break, is an
essential piece of equipment for you.
ANNIE
If I don’t have that I can leave my house in the morning.
INTERVIEWER
So what is it, show me.
ANNIE (Pulls plastic bag from container)
Well this, picks up the poop. This is the poop pack. And the
best part is...you have to smell it.
INTERVIEWER (smelling
bag)
Good Lord! It smells like Chanel! This is what Hollywood
doggies do it to. This is an essential part of your equipment,
that’s for sure. So tell me, who’s
doggies have you walked?
ANNIE
Steven Spielberg, Reese Witherspoon, Mike Meyers, Jim Belushi,
Courtney Thorne-Smith.
INTERVIEWER
Wow! That’s pretty impressive. And you can make up to about
$150,000 a year. Good for you!
But it’s quite
hard work.
ANNIE
It’s a lot of work...the hours are very long. People think
that when you do this kind of work you can choose your hours, but
actually you can’t.
INTERVIEWER
How many doggies do you walk at once?
ANNIE
Six to ten. They’re all off the leash. I take them either
to the dog park...or the canyon hiking or even out to Malibu. If
it’s a particularly hot day
I’ll talk them in the ocean. A lot of these
owners have never seen their dogs in the ocean
so I’ll take pics and call the owners and
tell them about Daisy swimming in the ocean.
I’m the nanny.
INTERVIEWER
You are!
